Fortnite New Cars Update

Cars will arrive in Fortnite Battle Royale! Here is everything we know so far.

The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 map continues to expand with more and more water levels.

However, in addition to revealing the location of new and updated maps, the water will soon reveal an entirely new car - automobiles.

Here is everything you need to know:

What's going on?

If you've been living under a rock for some time, the Fortnite map is completely flooded when Midas turns on Judgment Day.

Now, we have a wet and wild season 3, complete with carrots and sharks.

However, there seems to be a giant pole somewhere where the water levels drop, something that we simply could not want to happen.

As they retreat, new and changing POIs are revealed, as well as roads and, as expected, cars.

Types of cars, fuel, and propellers.

Eagle players will have seen cars in the trailer, but thanks to data miners like HYPEX, we now know a lot about what they will carry.
Unlike jet ski or quads in the past, cars look more complicated. First of all, there are four different types of cars. Small, medium, large and truck.

We believe that the bigger the car (or truck), the more hit points they will get. At the moment, it seems that small cars will have 800 horses, the average will have 1,000, and large cars will have 1,200. However, there is something else to think about: fuel.

Unlike any previous Fortnite vehicle, all cars will need fuel to run. They will be generated in different quantities and will use different quantities depending on their size.

Thanks to this helpful HYPEX help, we know a lot about how to operate cars. We will divide it for you:

Small car

Maximum fuel capacity: 100
Fuel per second when driving: 0.375
Fuel per second when increased: 5
Minimum fuel consumption in eggs: 40
Maximum fuel when generated: 100

Medium car

Maximum fuel capacity: 100
Fuel per second when driving: 0.5
Fuel per second when increased: 5
Minimum fuel consumption in eggs: 40
Maximum fuel when generated: 100

big car

Maximum fuel capacity: 150
Fuel per second when driving: 0.75
Fuel per second when increased: 9
Minimum fuel consumption in eggs: 50
Maximum fuel when generated: 150

Truck

Maximum fuel capacity: 100
Fuel per second when driving: 0.333
Fuel per second on impulse: 10
Minimum fuel consumption in eggs: 80
Maximum fuel when generated: 100

The four cars are called Whiplash, Prevalent, Mudflap, and Bear.

Trucks appear to be slower, but offer much more protection than cars.

Thrusters are a guaranteed way to zoom the map, at a high fuel cost.

Data miners also found evidence of refueling in the game icon. We currently do not know if this will be through an item that is transported or exclusively at service stations.

There is also information on "leakage". Each vehicle leaks at the same speed: 2 fuel per second. This means that when your vehicle is hit, your fuel will run out, kind of like the doors start falling off the helicopter.

When are the cars coming?

We're not exactly sure when the cars will come, probably in an earlier update for Season 3, possibly even update 13.20.

Keep your eyes open when the water levels drop, you may notice its first appearance.
We can't wait for more navigation to be added to Fortnite games as cars seem to be changing. Suddenly, going down to the more distinctive and distant POIs became more applicable, as long as you can find a car with a lot of fuel, that is.
